Skytek Desk services are intended for normal business use. We reserve the right to impose usage limits or terminate services if your activity is deemed inconsistent with normal, fair, and reasonable use patterns. This includes but is not limited to excessive API calls, abnormally high message volumes, or activities that negatively impact our systems or other users.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use Skytek Desk services to engage in any illegal or abusive behavior, including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized access to computer systems or networks, or attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities
- Harassment, fraud, stalking, or invasion of privacy
- Activities that violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonation of any person or entity
- Interference with the operation of our services or other users' access
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Data collection or harvesting without proper consent
Unsolicited Communications
You may not use Skytek Desk services to send email, SMS, or any other communications to persons who have indicated they do not wish to receive such communications. This includes:
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messages
- Communications to purchased or rented contact lists without proper consent
- Telemarketing or SMS campaigns that violate consumer protection laws (including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and similar regulations)
- Messages that fail to provide a clear opt-out mechanism
Important: You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable telemarketing laws, including obtaining proper consent before sending marketing communications.
Prohibited Content
You may not use Skytek Desk to store, transmit, or distribute content that:
- Exploits or harms minors in any way
- Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Is defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent
- Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Contains trade secrets or confidential information you are not authorized to disclose
- Promotes illegal activities or controlled substances
- Is obscene or constitutes harassment
Marketplace Compliance
When using Skytek Desk to manage communications for marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay, etc.), you must:
- Comply with all marketplace terms of service and policies
- Not use our services to circumvent marketplace communication rules
- Handle customer data in accordance with marketplace privacy requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries within marketplace-required timeframes
System Resources
You must not:
- Consume disproportionate system resources that affect other users
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or quotas
- Use automated systems to access our services in a manner that exceeds normal usage patterns
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our services
International Use
If you use Skytek Desk services from outside the United States or to communicate with recipients in other countries, you bear sole responsibility for complying with all applicable local laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately at support@skytektel.com.
Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request for corrective action
- Temporary suspension of services
- Permanent termination of your account
- Forfeiture of any service level guarantees or credits
- Legal action if warranted
We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate to protect our services and users.
